New in SoCal
Greetings. While an active member on several other forums, this one is new to me. While I own or have owned dozens of great cars, a Series 1 E-type convt remains one that is still on my bucket list. This forum appears a wealth of info and insights and I thank all those who contribute.

I appreciate your warm welcome, folks. I indeed continue my S1 XKE quest, as time permits. I looked at several cars at Classic Showcase in Oceanside, Ca, but they are either (a) absolute show queens or (b) in need of a great deal of TLC. Either way, Showcase always seems to want an arm and a leg re $$$. They do seem to do very nice work, but I really want a "middle class car". A nice weekend driver, somewhere between the two extremes.
It's out there; I just need to keep searching and reviewing.
Happy Motoring as we enter a new year.
