Default New UK S Type 4.2 Sport owner

Hi all,

I've just purchased a 4.2 S Type Sport with a gearbox problem. This is my second Jag (First was a 1993 XJ40 3.2 that served me well to more than 200K miles) and it was cheap!

I'm hopeful that it is something simple and does not need a new gearbox, but we'll see..... I'll be posting a thread in the S Type forum with all details very soon to see what you all think

Congratulations on the S-Type. Sorry to hear it's got a gearbox issue. I've added your pic here because the BMP wasn't displaying:

Follow this link S-Type / S type R Supercharged V8 - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the S-Type section for help, advice and information.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
