Greetings to you all :-) From Norway

First time Jaguar owner, in fact I will pick up my car tomorrow - a 2006 XJ 2,7 Diesel.
Many eyebrows are lifted over a disesel Jag, but here in Norway it has become difficult to maintain older petrol cars because of the ethanol dilluted gasoline that is available on most gas stations. And, disesel cars are much cheaper to purchase over the V8 cars, who had tons of taxes on them when new.
I'm very excited and looking forward to take the first trip from the dealer and home to the family, they are not yet aware of my latest purchase :-)

Congrats, that's a very nice X350 and you will love the beauty of the 2.7L TTD. We have owned the similarly fitted 2007 S-Type for years and never cease to be amazed what a high performance, high comfort tourer it is. Enjoy, and as well as checking out the X350 forum, drop by the Diesel forum as well . . . lots of important and helpful advice there about this engine.
