Hi,
I'm Gary G from central PA USA and I just bought my first Jaguar, a Saphire Blue 2000 XK8 from list member Keith through a classified ad. He did a nice job addressing the required maintenance and upgrading the Audio with a modern head unit. There is not a lot to take care of so I'm just enjoying the drive for now.
I've been driving SAABs for the last fifteen years and owned a '63 MG Midget for over 30 years so I'm used to British & European cars. I like to spin wrenches doing minor repairs but don't have the equipment or expertise to take on anything major. The forum has been a great tool to learn about the cars and I hope to keep in touch and maybe even contribute in the some knowledge in the future.

Others closer to your home location will be along shortly to extend their welcome also, but I'm guessing that you have been dropping in to build your knowledge base prior to purchase. If so, you will have picked up most angles to navigating your way around. Do check out the resources in your model specific forum, as well as your regional section.

Also, I suggest you head to the [User CP] on main menu to [Edit Signature] . . . include full details of your Model/Year/mods etc so that they appear automatically in all future posts and thus ensure all info you seek is accurate and relevant.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
