Default New XKR Owner - Ontario, Canada

Hello from Ontario, Canada and I just want to mention how appreciative I am of all the advice I see on this forum.
I am certain to add the wind deflector and remote top function from http://www.thejagwrangler.com/ based upon suggestions from this group.

Currently stored and containing my enthusiasm until spring. Certainly gives me some time to do some upgrades.

All suggestions welcomed!

Cheers,

Phil

Congratulations. Make sure you are aware of water pump and chain tensioner issues with these cars.

I too purchased my Jag in the winter and had to wait until spring to drive it. Was difficult.

Welcome to the forums Phil,

Good to have you with us.

It sounds like you've already found your way to the XK/XKR forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the Canada Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/canada-73/ to find other members in your region.

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Out of curiosity, are these problems I should be pre-emptive on and replace before even experiencing an issue?

Hello, Phil,
Congratulations on your new Jaguar!
Most of us know what it's like to have to wait for Jagalicious Weather. We also know how hard it is.
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Thanks LnrB,
Couldn't help but notice your have an SPL-311 in your past... Of interest, I worked for a Datsus/Nissan Dealer back in the early 80s and the owner there did a full frame off restoration of a 311... what a beautiful car
