Hello All,

This is my first Jaguar, and it is great. I joined the forum a little while back, but this is my first post. I just bought the car on Nov 6, so thought I would send a post since I'm now an owner. 2001 XJ8 with only 31000 miles on it.Car is in mint condition. Now I hate to get out and take a chance of someone dinging a door or worse. But it drives so nice it's just hard to resist. I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions as time goes by and I get settled into owning my new car. Great to be a part of this forum.

With a mint condition, low mileage car like yours I predict you will have 'Jag joy" for a long time PROVIDED you don't neglect perodic maintenance and take every precaution you can against an overheated engine. Jags are more expensive to maintain than most but, in my opinion, worth the difference.
