Newbie again
Hi Kejar7 here.
New to your forum. I had a 1998 XJ8 that was DOA at the last accident a few years ago.
Just picked up a 2003 Vanden Plas that I bought with a P0730 code and stuck in limp mode, car has 125 Kilometers on it. I picked it up for 1500.00 so I will be doing a few things I saw on this forum.
I ordered a pan, gasket, oil and transgo power valve, I will also be checking the rear wheel sensors. I have noticed the right rear tire worn to the inside? May all be related?
Always open to opinions.
Thanks for letting me join your group.
Cheers

Welcome to the forum Kejar7,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
2003 was a model change year. Is that one of the last of the steel bodied X308's or an early aluminium bodied X350?
Enjoy the forums.

Hi
When I checked my build date it looks like a build date of march of 02? But registered as a 2003?
Not sure if that make sense but that's what comes up when I check the serial #.
Cheers

That has to be a 1997-2003 X308:

This is the later 2003-2009 X350:

Follow this link XJ XJ8 / XJR ( X308 ) - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X308 forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
