Default Newbie to the forum

Hi all. I am a newbie to the Jaguar forum but I am a little older than my Jag (to say the least). Bought an S-Type last week and am now having to hide the key from my wife, a long-time Volvo lady. Nice vehicle and it is a pleasure to meet all of you. Looking forward to receiving and sharing info. I'm a semi retired engineer and love tinkering with things like this.

Welcome to the forum,

You know she will get the key from you!

You do have two keys don't you? Only one could lead to trouble if you lose it.

The local Jag dealer called today; my spare key is in. They have to program it though. So, woefully, wife will have her own key.

Currently live in Raymond, about half way between Portsmouth and Manchester.

At the moment we're under heavy fire from the presidential polls and candidate telephone calls. Primary is tomorrow. Maybe tomorrow night we can relax without constant calls!

I'm over in Hinsdale, just west of Keene. I can't help but wonder if all this political hot air is what's keeping the snow away?

Jamey.. you could be onto something with the political hot air. You will notice that tomorrow night immediately after the candidates and all the news crews leave we're due for a big snow storm!
