We purchased a 2005 S-Type 4.2 a few months back with 24000 on it, this automobile is awesome! And just want to say hello, and shame on me for not doing so earlier (got a purge email reminder) as I have found priceless info here on this form.

Good to hear you've found useful information here. Where you do, post on the thread to say how accurate or easy or difficult it was to do the fix. This helps others with similar issue's - and stops you getting purged.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User ID button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

If you haven't done so already you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.

 

OK... I have the car details in my signature, but for some odd reason it didn't show up in my first post, maybe I didn't have the check mark for "Show your signature" ? So giving it another whirl, and figure I'd post the photos of the car when we bought it, sorry my camera is having issues.
