Hi Peoples!


Just registered. Have a 2001 xj8 3.2 exec with quite a few problems!!

 

My biggest problem is the rear end kicks violently when accelerating on a bend. It even wobbles in a straight line too if i accelerate or slow down. When I turn at slow speed it sounds like the pads are metal to metal. I also have an occasional clunk from nearside mid section.

Ideas please!!

I suggest a repost of the issues in the XJ8 (X308), where the people there will answer you.

Rear cradle mount bushes seem the most likely to me, as I had that with the X300.
