Hello everyone!
I have been a member for a while, but just made my first post and was directed to the Intro.


I'm from Surfside Beach SC and got a 2004 Jaguar XJ8 last year and immediately fell in love. I LOVE this car. I'm extremely lucky that someone took exceptional care of it and for the most part it looks brand new. With it being ten years old and having 116,000 miles on it the normal things you would expect have started needing repair which brought me here.


So far I have replaced the trunk struts which started failing causing the trunk lid to fall on me all the time. I have replaced the windshield wiper inserts - that was a fun adventure due to the washer jets being on the wiper arm. Who knew it was so hard to find JUST the wiper insert to replace? My next project will be the brakes as they have begun squealing letting me know it's time to replace.


Anyway, I have already found a ton of useful information here and look forward to babying my Jag with your help.
