Hello,

Rob Thuss from Columbia, SC. Just bought an 03 S-Type R, black with grey leather, 62k. Drove her home last night from Raleigh, NC area. Also own an 05 S-Type 4.2 my wife drives, granite with dove interior. Member of Jag Society of South Carolina and JCNA for a number of years. Also own an '84 XJ-s 3.6 pre-production car with a 5 speed getrag that I've been using too much as a daily driver ... hence stepping into the '03. Had a late '67 E a few years ago. Anyway, three Jags in the driveway now. Glad to be able to join because I'll need some help to get a good baseline on the '03 especially without draining the bank. Cheers, Rob

Default Thanks

Thanks Jim,

I'm going to need some guidance with these S-types. My old '84 XJ-S 3.6 was a pretty simple design relative to the newer ones. Hopefully a pic of our cars and as a curiosity the Test Log from my the '84.

Thanks all. I use to run track days at Carolina Motorsport Park in Kershaw County. Had a Subie STI once that could get along with the porsches ... and ran my 3.6 there too and she sure lifted her skirt that day.

Hi All:

I just purchased a 07 XK convertible. I've owned Porsches, BMWs, Mercedes, and thought I'd try a Jag. Already running into difficulties, I have the leak under the dash and only one DVD disc for the east coast. I live in Texas.

I’m already getting great support from the Forum. Hope I can help as well.
