Cool Nice to know you

Hello everyone! I am new to this forum but was a member of Lumps. I have a 99 XJR and I am delighted but dejected at the same time, the car suddenly cut off and I haven't been able to restart it. Water got into the gas tank, I drained the water out, still no start, there is gas coming to the injectors rail but the pressure is low and doesn't seem to be entering the chamber because the plugs are not wet from gas, the relays in the trunks are functioning. All the engine does is crank but doesn't turn over. The car has 79,000 miles and I'm excited to put this cat on the road, any assistance would be helpful.

Welcome to the forum KirtJoe,

You've come to the right place with that kind of issue.

Follow this link XJ ( X308 ) XJ8 / XJR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X308 section for help and advice. The 'HOW TO' at the top of the threads there is a good place to start in both senses of the word.

You'll also find plenty of help on non starting issues in the XK8 'HOW TO' section where this link for one details the troubleshooting procedure:

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/g...d-first-30792/

There are several other threads there on non starting.

If you still can't get it running, post in the X308 section.

Hope it's soon running smoothly. Enjoy the forum.

Graham
