Hello from Tallahassee! Until Saturday afternoon, I was the proud owner of a fine 2001 XJ8 Vanden Plas, my second XJ. Now, I wait to learn its fate, totaled or not. If it is truly gone, I may look for a XJ 12, this time.

Welcome to the forum JDJD,

Good to have you here with us at Jaguar forums but commiserations on the XJ8. I hope no one was injured.

Follow this link XJ ( X308 ) XJ8 / XJR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X308 section for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues. If it is totalled, presumably the XJ12 you'd be going for would be the X305 of 1995-97? If so, this is the link to the tech section XJ ( X305 ) XJ12 - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Lower Atlantic Region section by following this link Lower Atlantic - NC SC FL GA - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forum.

Graham

Thank you, Cat, GGG, sklimii, and Norri. No one was hurt in the accident, for which I am very grateful. Even a wonderful car, is just a car. I much appreciate the links and the nice welcome!
