Default Parking brake issue

Hi all...I am new to the forum and am hoping I can get some help. I own a 1995 Jaguar xjs 2+2... This vehicle has been in storage for 2 years and when I got it out recently I took it for a drive and I noticed I wasn't getting a lot of speed when I got home both back rear what seemed to be my brakes were smoking husband took off both Wheels checked calipers and they seem to be fine could this be a parking brake issue my parking brake is very loose however it seems to work but I have to jiggle it to get the parking brake light off could this be controlling something with the back calipers

Hello, Taylor,
It's no fun at all to have an XJs that won't get up to speed.
I hope the Gurus in our XJS section can help you (and husband) get it sorted for you.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
