Hi guys and gals,
Picked up my 04 X-Type 3 Months ago she ran great BUT, one day after the dealer 3 month warranty ran out I Have the dreaded Whine from the TC . Found oil leaking from the Prop shaft seal
Thank you all for the posts about the TC probs.
Going to replace the oil seal and refill the TC hope that helps but i suspect
I will have to remove and rebuild the TC with new bearings. If it comes to that I will take pics n post for all you so hopefully we can save a few $$$
