Default Picking up a 1985 XJ6 this week.

Hello everyone,
I just bought my first Jaguar today, a 1985 XJ6, with 144K miles. Attached a photo.
Looks beautiful, and runs great, does need some work but I'm hoping to work on it myself.
Anyone know how hard it is to replace the brake lines?

Welcome to the forum Nick,

Congratulations on your first Jaguar - looks great.

Follow Steve's link to the XJ6 Series III section for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Thoese Ser IIIs are terrific cars. They're the most modern of all antique automobiles :-).

Brake lines? Nothing exotic or Jaguar-unique about them that I can think of. If you've replaced 'em on any other car you can surely DIY on a Ser III XJ6.

Welcome aboard

Cheers
DD
