Missed a great opportunity to assume payments on a 65 coupe and lived a life of regret until 95 when I got my xj6...
Traded it for a Rover in 2001 and resumed my life of regret.
Just obtained a 2000 XJ8 VDP and am going through it. New plastic cooling system /thermostat stuff, new MAF sensor.
Working on putting in a Nav system and repairing sound system.

I just purchased a 2000 VDP myself and will take delivery next week, we should compare notes. Mine already has the Nav system, but unless it has been updated, (which hard to believe at the prices and availability of the DVDs) I will use a portable.
I started looking at the XK8 first, but after try to fiteven very small peoplein the rear seats,decided the XJ8 was more practical!
