For Sale ( maybe) 86 XJ6 - only 37,000 miles
This car is for the enthusiast who understands the difference between the run of the mill cars out there and one of the best around. I bought this car from the second owner a couple of years ago. He was in his 80’s and reluctantly sold it to me.
1986 Jaguar xj6 - Beautiful British Racing Green with Buckskin Interior – the best color combo made. I have been looking a long time and you will not find a lower mileage better condition Series 3- XJ6. Only 37,600 miles and it looks like it,. The car still has the new leather smell, the leather remains very soft and in great condition both front and back seats. It was re-painted 10 years ago, has always been garage kept, and still looks nearly new. There is absolutely NO rust anywhere on this car. The front end was completely re-done a few years ago – I have the receipt. It has the original AM/FM cassette player all in working order.
This car looks great and everything is in working order including very cold AC. It seems like every time I drive this car someone is asking me about it and no one believes it is 25 years old. Always garaged, Looks & runs great, Low mileage, Must see, New tires, No accidents, Very clean interior If you are a collector this is the xj6 for you, or you can use this as a daily driver. Will cruise at 70-75 all day.
Two minor flaws – the cruise control does not work ( never bothered to check it out ), and the headliner is sagging some in the back.
