Hello Forum, I am an excited owner of an 2009 Jaguar XF Lux.model fully loaded,fully automatic.1 previous owner.It is Silver. Only 1 problem 1 keyfob.which stopped working when i dropped it in grocery store. I was locked out and had to call Jag Hqts.for help.Fob not broken but needs reprograming,
the local dealer charges$400.00 for xtra fob, and then will program them both for $125.00.no one in the local Detroit area is able to program the (1)/ 2009 fob. Able to drive by inserting fob into emergency port on the left underdash of vehicle. Any suggestions for reprogramming and the purchase of additional fob,much less costly? Suggestions Welcome. Yep, key fobs and tile floors, not a good relationship.
I cant help with teh fix, as I am down here and your locale is so different for that sort of fix.
We have "master locksmiths" that do almost any car key/fob.
I would repost your ask in the XF area, for more readers and a quicker answer.
One of the Moderators will see this soon, and move it for you.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
