Default Shot by depreciation

Long time owner of a 2007 XK (bought in 2008). Never liked Jaguar until the new styling came out and now love them to death, except when I can't start the dang car because the key isn't recognized! Thank god for the fail safe key slot!

Main reason for joining this forum is my interest in "converting" my '07 XK to look like the new '10 versions. I see the rear lights have already been done before and am now here to get ideas about the front bumper.

Never had much liking for speed, so the 4.2L is enough for me. Original plan was to trade in and upgrade to the '10 but thinking a front/rear conversion will probably be cheaper than the $20k I lose in depreciation if I trade in.

Thanks!

Hello and welcome to jaguarforums.com. I know that you are anxious to get started and we are anxious to meet you and talk about your car. We have a baseline / criteria that must be met before full access can be granted. Please enjoy the forum and be patient once the baseline has been satisfied full access will be granted. Please continue to post and accept my welcome to the forum.

Oh one other thing you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for.

Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.

Welcome to the forum,

Head over to the XKR section and ask the experts, there's a wealth of knowledge there.

Thanks, sig has been updated. And thanks doubly to whoever moved my thread from the XK8 to the XKR section. Didn't want to post there because I have no "R"
