Sooo glad to be back in Jagsville after 20 years
A big hello to all from here in not-so sunny Cotswolds UK.
Took the plunge 3 days ago to purchase a jaguar again, not having had one since my first days of driving. Back then was series 2's and 3's with rust abound, today its an X300 3.2 sport 1996.
So the love affair begins again, am happy with the low mileage (81k) and fsh up to 73k so i am tasked with the next service which i would be honoured to carry out myself as far as i can with lubes and filters etc. Have searched around already for the parts though if theres any recommendations for types of plugs/oils/jobs i should really do at this time in its life then do feel free to divulge your expertise it will be very well appreciated.
The exhaust is blowing towards the front slightly have not had a chance to get right under to see, temp guage temperamental as in stays nearer the cooler range though good heat in the sublime cabin. I did not pay top dollar though so to be expected!
Apologies for the long intro, weird as didnt want to post something long that was all soppy etc belying how much i love this car.
Though also if theres any other members around Gloucestershire then again feel free to say hi too
