Southampton UK
New custodian to a 2003 2.0D and very impressed so far.
Living between the Isle of Wight and Southampton UK.
Purchased from a friend who's wife wanted a LR Discovery.
No great car experience to speak of unless you count racing Lada's in the Czech republic.
Reasonably competent mechanic. Brought up in a farming environment where stripping heavy machinery was the norm pre-teen.
Likes: Bourbon.
Dislikes: Anything and anyone political.

Thank you.
Nice seeing some owners of classic jags. As a kid I used visit some friends who's parents owned a farm across the way. The father used to collect unroadworthy Jags from apx the 60's onwards and park them up in the barn. He had apx 15-20 including Mk2s and Mk10s and we used to sit in them to have a sneaky *** whilst imagining we were cruising down some London street. I can still smell the leather now.
Their mother was once walking past our house when their father came by in a Mk2 and made a handbrake turn in front of her, swinging the passenger door open in a cloud of rubber smoke to give her a lift home. My father watching this said "he's an *******". Of course I thought he was uber cool
And that, is my experience of Jaguars before now.
