speedometer and tachometer backlighting problem

speedometer and tachometer backlighting problem
I have a 2014 f type v8 s and the speedo and tach. are difficult to read in the daytime due to insufficient backlighting. The dealer insists that it operates within design specifications. It seems normal at night. Has anyone experienced this?
