Wanted a Jag my entire life, actually I wanted my brother's Jag. Had my fill of sports cars, MG, Triumph, Toyota MR2 (X2), hot rods of various kinds, but never a Jag. Then by bro calls, getting rid of his 83 XJS that he has had since new. We jumped in, bought it the same day he offered, drove 800 miles to pick it up the same night before he could change his mind. Put new tires and some electrics on it, new brakes, then decided the 30+ years of paint had to go. My son painted it candy cranberry with a gold ghost stripe. Now the darned thing wants to run funny on me. Will get it fixed shortly, maybe this winter's project, then will be able to enter some shows, take some long rides, and enjoy.
