Default Surprisingly, a Jag owner

Hello all, big time car guy who loves all types of cars but happens to be a huge BMW enthusiast.

To make a long story short, I am having a Jag dropped off to my House in the next day or so, a 2000 S-Type 3.0, not sure what i am going to even do with it yet, perhaps step one would be to convince my Fiancee to love it and in turn for us to keep it...

Hopefully I will be able to learn from everyone if I get to keep the Jag.

Welcome to the forum!

Glad you're finally coming over to the good side. The force is getting stronger in you.

Might as well list your M5 now so you can have it sold by the time the S-Type arrives so there's no competition!

Welcome to the forum! You shouldn't park a BMW next to a Jag, it could start another world war!

Conrats on getting a Jaguar, I have read good things about it and I'm sure you will enjoy. I am interested and thinking about test driving one I've been looking at

Impressions?
This car is smoooth!! It rides like a cloud, reminds me of my 2002 Range Rover, but feels even smoother, but not boat like.

How difficult is it to remove the wood panelling on the dashboard and around the shifter?

As far as the BMW VS Jag, they will just need two serve two different purposes.. almost like the little devil and angel on the shoulder.

Well, of course the two cars are completely different in style, character, and purpose. I can't see you getting rid of the M5, but you should enjoy the S-type for what it is, a superb cruiser.

Welcome to the Forum !

Default Nice looking car

Congrats on the Jag - it's a nice looking car. My wife has an S-Type 3.0 and loves it. It's a timeless classic.
