Well, I finally pulled the trigger. I've been shopping and reading for awhile and recently found an '08 XKR Portfolio coupe that I couldn't resist. Now the hard part....I've got about a week to wait until I can pick it up! Torture.

I'm coming from a Cadillac CTS-V. Liked it a lot (still do) and was shopping for a new one when I found myself distracted by a late model XK on the lot. Those curves! That's what started this whole new adventure.

I'm definitely very new to the Jaguar product and culture but I'm looking forward to learning. The Cadillac "V" community has a couple very active enthusiast forums that were very helpful and I'm hoping that this one will be, as well. It can sure be a lot of fun, not to mention, save a lot of grief.

Away we go!

mohrd- Luckily, I'm working nights so not much sleep anyway. I'm scouring the internet for anything I can read about this car to pass the time. I was relatively patient while I shopped, but I'm not anymore. I'm really looking forward to my first Jaguar!

mja xkr- Yeah, likewise! Beautiful car. I wasn't looking for a Portfolio (to be honest, didn't even know what it was ), and now that I do know, I realize that it might have been hard to find one if I was looking. Just dumb luck that this one came available when it did. Looks like a special car.
