Toll Box Positioning on Front windscreen XJL 351

Has anyone had to place a "Toll Box" on a front winscreen? The instructions state that on cars with "coated" screens it must be placed within the blackened area near the rear view mirror. However there is very little area to do this. Any ideas please? Otherwise I might have to wave it through the side window as I reach the Toll booths!

Welcome aboard Norman…..Here in Oz we have a small unit to pick up toll charges and I have mine in the black spotted area near the rear mirror…..works just fine.
