i have just bought damiler sov 1979 4,2 oil pressure starts at 40 when warm and stationary drops to 20 , when rev and moving raises to 40, is this normal i thought they held 40ish even on idle , helloo any help would be grateful

You say your car is a '79, but not now many miles on it of if it's been sitting for Years. All that matters.
