Wanted to say hello to everyone

Hi everyone. I'm new to the whole Jag thing and I am so excited to be here. Be patient with my lack of knowledge of all things automotive, I am a recovering autophobe. I'll try not to use the word "thingie" too much and promise not to pull the chic card. Thanks in advance.
browneyed, don't worry, there are some guys that are more clueless than you are. The thing is, are you willing to learn? As long as you are, you will find tons and tons of information here. Don't forget to get a bit greasy periodically too. he he he hehe. It might be hell on the nails, but is lots of fun too.
As the questions and put in as much detail as you can. If you need to use "thingie", then take a picture of it. Someone will recognize the part and tell you what it is.

Hi there browneyedgirl n welcome to the forum.......great to have you aboard, we need more female members.
As you've posted this thread in the general tech help and not the new members section, I've played your chic card for you this time and moved it there for you....lol
Feel free to use the chic card now and then and I'm sure it'll get you even speedier results.
As said, why not post a pic of your car and show her off a little, maybe one of yourself in the mug shotthread in the off topic section...........you can also see some of the members there...there's some quite funny / gruesome pics.
Cheers
Jim
