Hello, and greetings from New Brunswick, Canada!
I'm the current caretaker of my wife's 2002 X-type Jaguar, a 3.0 Litre sedan.
So far it's been a very enjoyable car to drive despite the cost of some of the repairs!
We both enjoy the AWD feature of the car, being that we have a considerable amount of snow here in eastern Canada!

Our hope is to drive this car for at least five more years, afterwhich we'll probably move on up to an XF AWD, buying a used one as cost of new is a bit more than we plan on spending.

As well, I'd like to find a series 1 Jaguar E-type roadster to restore when I retire all the way!

Good to hear you both enjoy the car despite the present difficulty.

I know you've already found your way to the X-Type section so there's no need for a link to it.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User ID button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
