Hi everyone from NE PA 2004 Jagar Xtype 71,000 on it I love it but having a issue with the trans axle popping out Right front and when this happens the car will not move. It was replaced and new axle was installed but just popped out on Friday again only 400 miles later, it in the garage now the axle clip is off of it and dammage to the end spline. any ideas what can be the problem?

Did you ever have this problem? My 04 jaguar xtype 3.0 awd wont move. The transmission never slipped and the computer is not reading an error.

 

Yes that was exactly the symptoms. I have been hearing a lot of problems with the Transfer cases on these cars! I had the TC replaced this week. They removed it and found the main bearing broken all way around the internal shaft causing the main drive axle (right front) to push out and break the clip off of the axle. Total cost $2,000 for a used TC and labor.
