Have owned 1995 xj12 (x300). I love the car, been fixing it up little by little. 108.000 miles. Wife was rear ended in it this week and coincidentally the heat stopped working. The heater hose to core is wonderfully complex, thankyou. Here is what I do know. There is hot water in the hose to what looks like a solenoid valve. The water does not/will not, go thru the valve to the core. After the water goes thru the core, (when working properly) the water xits the core via hose to a small electric pump, I guess for circulitory purposes. My question is is there some sort of reset for this unit? Could it just be a fuse or relay? If anyone could give advice that would be so helpful if it might be something simple. I could possibly bypass the whole thing for another day to worry about, but I would rather fix it proper if not to expensive. Thanks Very Much.
