So, back in 1999, I got to go to the London Motor Show while studying at Oxford. When I saw a XK8 for the first time, I stopped and stared, thinking, "This is the most gorgeous automobile that I have ever seen." I must have stared for 20 minutes.

In 2006, I bought a XK8, and it's equipped just the way I would have ordered it - Carnival Red, tan convertible top, ivory interior, no navigation, with the upgraded stereo. I still can't believe that the car is mine. Driving it, thinking about it, and staring at it makes me grin.

 

I remember that feeling tonyc, ah too well. After owning mine for a year now, I still wash it and that night, I go into the garage and stare at it. Sometimes I even hug it. j/k...or am I?

Glad to have another XK8 owner. Seems carnival red is a popular color! It is rather striking, I must say.

By the way...we want pics. Its sortof a requirement. not kidding..lol
