my first jag!!finally....1977 xj6 showroom condition with 74,000 miles what should i know about this car??i am a do it myself mechanic.

Welcome. The Series 2 XJ's are nice cars. They tend to go through bushings and balljoints. Keep an eye on those for a smooth ride. Also, check the rear brake pads. You don't want those to get into the rotors. They are inboard brakes, mounted next to the differential. You don't want to change those rotors. Do the pads before it's an issue.
