Hi all

I bought my 2002 X-Type Jaguar 6 months ago and it turns out when it had it's WOF through the dealer Beachams Penrose they had missed.

A) The adjusting screws on the drivers side headlight were broken, B) The Headlight Levelling switch doesn't work because apparently the push knob was jammed in, still is

C) The power steering unit is leaking of which I had informed the dealer 3-4 months after I bought the car, it is still under warranty but unfortunately after the massive problems I had trying to get the dealer to replace the transponders which took Beachams 4 months, and when the transponders did finally arrive they order the wrong KHz on one of the transponders.

I ended up going to Archibald because their technician in Penrose branch didn't seem to know what he was doing.

So people can anybody on this forum help me, to locate

A) A second-hand headlight levelling switch, B) Adjusting headlight screws, and can the power steering leak be easily fixed. My biggest mistake was to purchase my $13,000.00 2002 Jaguar X-Type.... absolute heap of dog-poo!

I can't take it back to Beachams because I don't want to go through months of trauma like the last time.

I had to get my headlight adjusters replaced for my WOF 5 months ago and got it done by Home

They are excellent and not the usual dealer rip off price.

Give them a call or drive down and discuss, very helpful and should be able to sort all your dramars (They are in Grey Lynn, Auckland but I'm not sure where you are from).
