Default Daimler Majestic Major Limousine

I'm sorry to say that I had to trade my Jaguar MKV project because of lack of time and resources, and health issues. The cool thing is that I was able to trade it for something interesting... a 1960 Daimler Majestic Major Limousine. It is all in one piece, runs well and pretty much just needs paint. Anyway, as a long time friend of this forum, I wanted to check in and say hi to those who I met while I frequented here. This is the way she looks now, and I will post my "photoshopped" vision of what she will look like when painted.

Good to see you back again. Sorry to hear the MKV had to go.

Are you going to be OK with the steering wheel on that side?

Graham

I had one of these when I was a kid (well my dad did) - ours was a '64 I think.
As I remember the V8 was extremely thirsty to feed on a teenager's pocket money!

The car itself was pretty cheap when we got it, we had a mini and we traded it for the Daimler and as far as I know got money back too - no-one in their right mind drove a gas guzzler like that in 1960's Britain unless you were Lord Mucky-Muck or a nut like my dad!

Was great taking out the local girls though, what a back seat!!

Here's a pic I took back in the day -

Are you staying with that color scheme?

Default Paint scheme

I actually plan on changing the color scheme to British Racing Green on Black. The wheels are shot on this one, so I got some bolt on wires I am putting on. This is a PhotoShopped version of what it should look like when done -
