Can anyone help identify this car please? All I can tell you is that its owner was from southern Ontario, Canada.

Thanks!

I believe it's a 1919-ish ******-Overland. I was lucky with my googling and found a beaut online.

The question arose when someone put an ad in the local classifieds on the weekend, trying to identify his great-grandfather's car.

That certainly looks like it, were they ever built in Ontario?

No, they were built just down the road, in Toldeo, Ohio. That's a 3 hour drive nowadays.

edit. Actually that's a good question. I'm not sure what they built in the old Russel Car plant in they bought in Toronto, prior to the Whippet ten years later.
