Default Mercedes Benz W222 S Class

No wonder why MB S Class is considered by many as the best car in the world and the present W222 S Class also proudly deserving this tag .
Here's a complication of many pics from W222 S500 Plug in Hybrid to top model V12 S600 / S65 AMG .
S63 AMG pic also included for you to see how gorgeous car it is

Agree with you about both 221 and 222. One thing I didn't like about the 221 was the dash/console design.
Thought it was clumsy & discontinuous. Vastly improved on the 222.

Jaguar needs to ramp up its game for the XJ to contend with this car.
Although, I do like the XJ's interior even more than the W222!
Sorry to see Jaguar so sparing with wood now though.

This is a great car indeed. Interior looks more Jaguar than the current XJ unfortunately, and the exterior is unmistakably MB. The only thing I don't like about it is how inmensly huge it is. Way too tall

The only thing in the current interior that looks out of place is 4 air vents. 2 would have fitted the dash a lot better

Maybe i'm just biased, but I test-drove a 2015 S550 and I was unimpressed. But then I drove a 2015 XJ Supercharged and was ready to sell a kidney.

Mercedes S-Class is less sporty (handling/braking) but has more stately styling, roomier more comfortable interior, better technology, better interior layout/materials (current XJ center stack is gimmicky, too much chrome, and has horrible layout), and lastly faster engines in AWD form.

I hate to say this but most full-size luxury buyer value the above qualities over sportiness. If it weren't the case then the Porsche Panemera would have the segment's best seller.

In my opinion the face lifted W221 was a better looking car.
