Default Checking out the new B99 concept...

lots more photos of the new smalll Uagujar-Bertone99 from Geneva Auto Show.

It got suicide doors.

Like the body - hints of the old sexy curves, but not so sure about whatever it is that they've done with the grille and the headlights.
And the rear looks a little too much like the front - is it coming or going?

If they actually build it they'll probably change lots of those wack touches.

And (yippeekayay!) its got an actual leaper on the hood.

See: http://www.autoblog.com/2011/03/02/j...geneva-reveal/

While you're there - check out the cow-catchers they put on the front andd back of the racing B99 - I think I want to get those for my X-type

Without having anything to choose between like and hate, I'm forced to choose hate. I see nothing innovative in the photos and lots that will never make it into production, so it's moot anyway. But in reality, "hate" is too harsh a term.

Lets hope it does not make into production. The suicide doors look stupid and the rest of the car is not much better, and I won;t even touch on the interior and what I can see of the controls.

Aside from the suicide doors, I really like it. Looks like a Jag to me, and not a Lexus/"everycar" like the current model range.

I find it better than X350 styling but present XJ look classier

I have moved it off so other members than X Typers pay their two cents on it

I've seen this before, but these are by far the best pictures I've seen. I love this concept. The headlights need to be bigger, and preferably round. If it made it to production that would definitely happen. I see a lot of XJC in this as well. The suicide doors are great and work well on this concept. The area between the tail lights need some work also. The grill does an adequate job combining the old look with the new XJ/XF grill style, but it looks a little bit like it belongs on a Maserati. Overall I much prefer this to the new XJ and I wish they would build it, but I highly doubt it will ever get built. It would probably be considered too much of a step back for Jaguar.

Headlights need more work but definately has potential. Either way much nicer than 3 series, heck it seems everyone and their mother drive a 3 series these days. This car would stand out MUCH more.
