Default Daimler DS420 Wasting Away

This is just a little something that I wanted to share with other Jaguar lovers: I have never had the pleasure of looking upon a Daimler before, but today that changed. I had seen a white car sitting behind a former museum here in South Tulsa and had wondered what it was. I assumed that it was an old Jaguar but wasn't sure and today I stopped to check it out. It's a Daimler DS420! It's in sorry shape, but even so I can see the beauty that exists. As I said, it's in sorry shape, but I'm sure if someone had the time and money it could be restored. In it's day, it must have been a joy to drive. Hopefully, it will be again.

I'm a college student, so I should think not. Love the 420 to death though. Hey, I see that you're in Tulsa (I'm at TU), I wanted to know if you could recommend a good mechanic... I have bank 1 running rich and I don't know where to go... I know there's Jaguar Tulsa, and "Captain Jaguar's Cat House". Any thoughts? Off topic sorry but I thought you may have a suggestion.

In response to ianclements question about a mechanic in Tulsa, I'm afraid I don't know of one. I was going to Capt Jaguar's Cat House, but he has closed up shop. Steve from their parts department told me about a place over by the Toyota dealer at Sheridan and the BA, but I haven't looked them up.
