28 grand seems kinda expensive to me, id get my "dream car" viper for that money lol

 

Interesting car though. There is a site dedicated to convertible conversions I posted a while back in the off-topic section. One particular car to note is a Jaguar X300 convertible performed by Jaguar as a one-off. It is at the JHT museum. They did have a concept picture of an S-Type convertible that should have been built.

 

A small UK company once did these conversions. The Mark 10 was very good because the side sills were so deep, (like about 12" !), the body remained rigid even with the roof removed. I wonder where that photo was taken ? Maybe a seaside resort like Bournemouth or Brighton.

Not worth anywhere near that kind of money as a lump.

I liked it until I saw that.
