Does anyone upgraded their XJ with blind spot monitor ?

I've seen a few mirrors showing up with BLISS :

Is it a matter of changing them ? is everyting self contained there ? or the car needs sensors somewhere ?

Anyone done it ?

 

Blind Spot requires a sensor module mounted behind the rear bumper cover on both sides. I would assume the wiring is there, but cannot say that for sure. So it is not just the mirror.

 

You need to order 2pcs of BSM modules, located in rear bumper on each side, mirror elements with BSM indicators. Reprogram CCF file and update some modules
