Gents, I'm looking on doing some upgrades to my ride. I requested a quote from my dealership for the following parts. Below is what I got. Please let me know where and if I can have the same items for a better price. Also if you guys have pics with the below accessories please shares.
ILLUMINATED TREAD PLATES. Front Left Part# C2D22753
Front Right Part# C2D22752
Rear Left (long wheelbase) Part # C2D22757
Rear Right (long wheelbase) Part # C2D22755
You can find pictures of the OEM accessories using Google search and entering "Jaguar Part no. xxxxxxx pictures".
I've done the following at a fraction of the cost of OEM parts and labor. My car already had red center caps when I bought it CPO, but exact copies are very inexpensive compared to your dealer's prices.
Mina Gallery replica Speed Style Sport Rear Spoiler $255 painted and delivered with Forum member discount. Simple DIY installation: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...-109490/page3/ See my post #48 for details.
IMHO, the $470 OEM accessory tailpipe finisher isn't worth the cost, as it is simply a cover that slips over and is bolted to the original tailpipe and only slightly changes its appearance:
Available for only £420.00 (US$655.54) plus S&H, are these nice but pricey quad tailpipe finishers from Spires in the UK: XJ All variants (Quad tail pipe conversion) | Spires
An entire new exhaust system with quad pipes is just a bit more from Mina Gallery.
If this was helpful, please press at the bottom right.

I found some good deals on ebay for these new sills, and I just went out to take a quick pic for you. I love them, even though they hold no function other than a 'cool' factor. Sorry it's not a little sharper, that was taken hand-held.
From: Mooresville, NC (Race City USA), home of most NASCAR teams.
Nice photo. I like the way they light up not only the sill but the seat adjustment controls.
My wife's 2010 Ford Mustang convertible came with them. Any installation problem? Do you have them for both front and rear doors? Care to share what you paid for them?
If anybody was worried that they may be too dim...you'd be TOTALLY mistaken, they are extremely bright. Installation was easy - pop up the old ones (they just snap into place), connect the sill to an existing plug that was placed there JUST for this sill, and snap the new one back on.
On ebay, last month...$289 and $265 each, inc. shipping. Both were from jag dealers also, as it turns out. I only purchased the fronts as I could only justify so much of a frivolous purchase lol...and I rarely have backseat passengers...like I could count on one hand, the number of times someone sat in the back last year in my 2005 XJ.

One question : do you have the connectors for the illuminated sills if your came from factory WITHOUT them ? ie, with normal non illuminated sills ?
I'm wondering if I should buy them ( 100% pure vanity thingie ) and then I dont want to run cabling under the doors, since I dont have any eletrical wiring there.
How do we "pop" the sills ? perhaps I could pop them and have a look ?
The connectors are there on every xj, so don't worry about that.
Do you know how some panels have these metal clips over tabs that just get 'pressed' into an opening and are held in place by the metal clip? That's exactly what these are designed to do. Straight up and down, nothing fancy.
