Just saw this car this morning, I haven’t seen it for 40 years. It is a genuine type 35A Bugatti with a genuine XK120 3.4 litre engine with C-type head and 2” sand-cast SUs. It has been this way since the 50s although the original engine is still safe and sound.
it weighs about 850kg and was a very competitive race car in NZ in the 50s, against some of the top GP drivers who used to visit here in those days.
it has two small radiators, with an air scoop on the other side of the bonnet to bring air in between the radiators,



for the second radiator.
