Several pictures from JCOA 2010 Concours D'elegance event today. Two of my favorite shots are shots of the Leaper, one in a Mark VIII, the other in a Mark IX saloon. The overall best in show is an SS 100. My car took 2nd place in XK8/XKR class. The car next to me (an XK 120) took the best in class for XK - and the award for it is a nice Leaper statue.

Ron - this was last Saturday Oct 9 @ Marriott La Frontera in Round Rock. I learnt abt this event when I participated on Texas All British Car Day - a member post the event on the board.

I met a JCOA member (with an XJS) that sent me an invite to the concours. Houston club will have theirs on the 23rd - I think.

Car shows - I find - are like air shows for me. Once you go to an event, you go out trying to find the next one. BTW - there's one @ Bee Cave Galleria called 'Rolling Sculpture' - last year's was quite good. Look it up on the web and facebook.

 

The Mark VIII saloon looks amazing!!! Great photos.
