Lets see your Leapers
I love my Leaper! It reminds me that I'm driving a Jag every time I see it gleaming in the sun. & is one of the most distinctive & easily recognised logos in the automotive world. It also lends itself to some great photo ops, & I'm sure that I'm not the only one to get a little creative with it. So how about sharing some great shots of a great icon. Here's my effort.

Mine does not have a leaper but here are some that I took over the years:
2010 Texas All British Car Day - 420 mirrored Leaper:

2010 Jaguar Club of Austin Concours - Sky Leaper on a Mark VIII sedan:

2010 Jaguar Club of Austin Concours - I call this 'the Sun Leaper' due to the orange Growler badge on a Mark IX sedan:

2011 Texas All British Car Day - same 420 sedan as above, except this one is an auto-bracketed HDR shot:

If you use the < and > buttons, you will be able to see some other creative badging as well. It's not my cup of tea, but it's your car and it's a short life, so do as you wish! If the next owner doesn't like it, they can always take it off.

If it were my car, I wouldn't.
The Leaper is an almost integral design elements on the saloons/sedans, but not on the GT and sports car, which have the Growler badge instead.
I never see a leaper on C/D/E-type nor an XK (both X100/X150-gen).
But whatever floats your boat I guess ..... if it makes you happy, go for it.

Just to help us back on track: Gold anyone?

I wish it were mine - I saw it on a wedding car hire site.
