1969 XKE Roadster

Hi I have a friend of mine that is interested in selling his 69 XKE he parked it in his garage over 20 years ago cuz the battery had died and has never driven it since. Here is a link to some photos of it. http://www.dotphoto.com/Go.asp?l=vek...948390&T=1 I when out andlooked at it last night and it is 100%. He had purchased it for his wife when it was 6 months old. They had it painted because she wanted it green. Other than that it is all original. There are 60,000 mile on the car. Looks like it just needs some lovin' How much do you think he could get for it? I'm trying to help him out but I really have know Idea what it is worth. Thanks for your help. Kevin.

I think he'd be lucky to sell it for $85 bucks. By the way, I'll buy it for $500???

Just kidding (obviously) - it's hard to say what it's worth. Very useful information would be.....has the engine locked up? If the battery has been replaced..does it run? Check "Cars online" - the "jaguar" section. This will give you a better idea of what it's worth, or at least what other people would ask.

its a shame he let it get the way it is, id consider buying it, do you know the original color? the value def takes a hit bc its a non-original color. Id consider it for the right price.
