1976 XJ6C Coupe Project 80% Complete
This post is for my 1976 XJ6C Project car which is in the final stages of completion. Unfortunately it looks like I will be unexpectedly moving in the next couple of months and it would make my life much easier to sell the car rather than move it. This is a rust free desert car with 0 corrosion on it. I have a thread in the Series 1,2,3 section documenting the condition of the car. Its phenomenal, you will not be disappointed. The car currently runs and drives, but is in partial disassembly. I have everything needed to put the car back together minus some minor odds and ends. The Car is currently powered by a Chevy 350/700r4 combo. The original motor/trans is available if desired
What has been done:
New paint, looks to be some variation of OEW
Chassis has been restored (paint, undercoating, brakes, steering)
New fuel tanks, epoxy coated internally. New senders also
Seats recovered in biscuit colored leather (fronts refinished in lowback style)
New interior panels from OSJI, new carpet installed
New weatherstripping, windshield seals all around
What it needs:
Front bumper, grille, headlights installed
Hood needs to be aligned and gaps set
Center console recovered (4 yards of matching vinyl for this)
Interior: seats/panels/console/Headliner installed (have all of this new)
Exhaust from differential back
misc buttoning up....
The car is currently located in ST. George Utah, but I may be able to help out with moving it a reasonable distance, or meet you halfway.
I would love to sell the car intact, but I just don't see me having the time to dedicate to this in the near term. I am not desperate to sell it so please no crazy offers, I am already loosing plenty of money as it is. Worst case it goes in storage for a year before I can get to it. Asking 12,500 o.b.o. Thanks for looking
