82K miles. Excellent condition. Everything works except for the cruise control. All original except for 7" low beam headlights (7" low beam headlights are the original design for the car. 5 1/4" low beam headlights were fitted for the US market). The original headlights will come with the car. Exterior is alpine green metallic and is in excellent shape. There are no areas of fading, rusting or chipping. All the chrome is in excellent shape. The windows have been tinted and they show some bubbling, but nothing severe. The car has been garaged all of it's life. Interior is cream color. No rips or tears in the leather. There is slight wear on the driver's seat bolster and leading edge of the arm rest. Dash is NOT cracked and the wood finish is intact. Original R12 A/C still works beautifully. Twin tank fuel system works without issue. Car has the 15" Dayton wire wheels. It does not have the leaper ornament on the hood.
I'm the second owner. I've owned the car for the last 2+ years. I've driven it only occasionally. I've changed the oil, flushed the brake fluid and had the alternator rebuilt. It hasn't needed much attention. Some maintenance records back to the mid 90s.
It is a very nice example of a series III XJ6. I'm only selling because I need the garage space for a project car for a new teen driver.

My XJ6 Vanden Plas is still for sale. For most of 2014 I didn't put much effort into selling the car - obviously. But I need to get it sold. The most significant change in the car is I added 17" Dayton wire wheels and Barum (Czech tire company) 225/55R-17 tires. I got these from a buddy and he bought them new in 2010. The wheels are in excellent shape and tires have 9/32" worth of tread left. I think a very nice upgrade to the car.
My asking price is $6999. I cannot figure out how to edit my original post to change the price on the first thread.... Looks like the edit function was disabled due to the age of the thread.
